The headline act were fine – but the ‘Garforth BOB Barmy Army’ were there for the support band.

Hey Col. I was at this gig as part of the Garforth contingent to see Bob but was so smashed I don’t remember One Thousand Violins. Weirdly enough I ended up in a band with our late mutual friend Stephen Cox (who may also have been there) and Vince Keenan (ex singer from One Thousand Violins and brother of John Keenan).

Andy: Thanks for sharing your memories (or lack of!). So far I’ve got 225 gigs to add to this blog. It’s a small world, so there are likely to be many interesting and bewildering cross-overs. You’ll make you first appearance as a performer when I get to entry 033.
