Starting the evening on a high note, The Stranglers performed a support set of classic, timeless tunes, still sounding edgy but brilliant.
Simple Minds upped the ante and delivered a full-on stage show, flaunting an outstanding discography spanning decades. A spectacular showcase, bordering on glitzy but with a sense of celebratory style.


I was there with my mum .she was 64 at the .time I was .45 .we qued from 4.pm out side .it was bitterly cold . one of the steward employee said .wait inside .and buy a drink .and when we are ready to open the doors .you .can go in first . the doors opened .and myself and my mum ran as fast as.we could down to the arena . we was blessed with the privilege to
be right .at the very front . if it wasn’t for the barrier . I could have
touched the stage . we watched the stranglers first they
were the supporting .act .they were .brilliant .then the band came on . oh my gosh .I had goose .pimples .jim said put your hands .in the air .are we ready to rock .me and my mum never stopped clapping .from .start .to finish
the band . gave an upmost sensational .performance .the women singers . was fantastic .one sang .book of brilliant .things. she rocked .i still had adrenaline
when I got. home .this wi stay in .my memory. for life .
